One of my favorite things about fall: candles!!!
While great for year-round ambiance, there is just something about a candle suffusing my home in cinnamon spice that is extra lovely in the fall.
It's the time of year for coziness and candles do just that by adding soft lighting and that additional sensory layer of scent. Think a hot mug of tea, a worn book, and your favorite autumn flavor.
Candle shopping is always an adventure; a hunt to find that perfect fragrance. To kick the candle season off strong, we wanted to share a few of our favorite options for yummy candle finds:
1) Home Goods
This is perhaps one of my number one stops when it comes to candle shopping. Home Goods has great prices and always has a good stock of Yankees (my personal fav for their longevity). This is a solid choice if you're looking for a reliable candle source.
2) Wax Poetic Candle Bar
On the more exotic side, Wax Poetic Candle Bar in Grand Rapids offers you the chance to MAKE your own candle. How cool is that?!? Staff will guide you through the creation process and leave you with a soy wax, cotton wick, clean burning candle of your own fragrance. You can also choose to purchase their pre-made individual scents as well.

3) Fresh Coast Candles
Another clean burning option, Fresh Coast Candles are made of high quality soy wax and essential oils (and they also just have a really great vintage look!). You can purchase them online or check out their list of vendors here.
