2016 has come and gone, and what a good year it was! We sat down a couple of weeks ago to write out our goals, hopes, and dreams for the new year---this is my favorite part about being a business owner---and we’re so excited to let you in on what we’re up to! Here’s a little peek at what LFID has coming in 2017...
Apartment Tenant Lounge:
To start off the year, we’re continuing to work hard on an exciting commercial project. Headed up by Joe Mclinnis of Commercial & Industrial Building Maintenance, this project includes renovations for a leasing office, clubhouse, lobby, workout space, and locker room in a Lansing apartment complex.
We’re partnering with Tamara Valdiserri and Elizabeth Burr at Kentwood Office Furniture for our remanufactured workstations and clubhouse furniture, and we’re hoping to have artwork commissioned by Rachel Mockaitis, a local Grand Rapids artist. Also partnering on this project is Lauren George of The Raven and The Writing Desk, helping out again with her amazing furniture redesign skills!

Design Showcase:
We’re also working hard to prepare for the Coverings 2017 Design Installation Showcase! With just three months of work to go, we’re getting pumped to head to Orlando and bring this tiny house to life. There are still plenty of ways to be involved, so contact me if you are interested!

Residential Clients:
Between the showcase and the commercial project, we're still finding time for our first love at LFID: residential interior design work. We just love homes! We recently wrapped up a master bath renovation in a historic East Grand Rapids home, as well as a teen bedroom redesign. That said, we're ready to start on some exciting new projects.
